Managing self
Managing self is when you are responsible for the things that you're doing and thinking of you're acts and sorting problems by yourself.
These are 3 examples of when I managed myself at school.
Kapa haka / Knitting club
In the beginning of the term I decided to join kapa haka and I have made myself to develop the habit to always remember to go to practice at first it was pretty hard because I had to miss out on so many games that I can play outside but I have definitely thought myself managing my own time and getting use to missing out sometimes. Same thing goes with knitting club straight after kapa haka I go to knitting club with my friends and knit.
My desk
If my desk is not organised and clean I cannot work at all its like my brain is messy too.
So when it is break times I re-organize my desk so when I come back from my break it is tidy and ready for learning I do it at home too especially where I do my homework and I do my learning while it is lockdown right now.
A 'Can-Do' Attitude in Waterwise
I always try my best to give new learning a go and one of the challenging things that I have done this year is waterwise and the most challenging activity for me at first was sailing and I was really nervous to do it but I have overcome the fear of sailing.
how have you managed yourself this year? Please comment down below.
Maker education (a term coined by Dale Dougherty in 2013) closely associated with STEM learning, is an approach to problem-based and project-based learning that relies upon hands-on, often collaborative, learning experiences as a method for solving authentic problems.
