Donald Trump-leadership

Donald Trump

Donald Trump was born 14 June 1946. He was born in New York, New York, United States. He was a leader of the United States. He has not died yet, He is 73 years old, he speaks English and he lives in the White House.

Donald Trump doesn’t plan to begin the war for the fight, so he said ”let's build the brick wall” between the United state and Mexico because he wants to block the war from Mexico because he wants to make the United States great and he wants to keep her children and his wife.

He works hard by doing the speech because he wants to earn a lot of money because he is the president and he may get a speech to earn money.

He is confident of doing the speech because his speech mostly be great, he is really good at doing his job and he can remember a lot of stuff.

Sometimes it gets more difficult to do some speech because he can remember a lot of stuff he has to say, but he can’t remember way too much because he is way too smart, but not that way too smart to remember a hundred thousands of words to remember or kind of making a lot of mistakes.

He had to take the responsibility of his speech for his action because his job was to make everybody impressed and happy and he wanted to be a great man of speaking.  he wanted to earn more money because he wanted to keep himself, his wife and his children rich.

 Manage yourself

Hello, bulla, kia ora, I am here to talk about managing yourself. Managing myself means not getting distracted with your friends and getting on with your work

Here are three reasons how I manage myself at school.

I have a couple of  jobs to do at school . The first job is Wet day monitor. I go to a class to look after younger kids at morning tea and lunch if it is raining. Me and my friend are looking after a Year 2 class in Room 4.
My second duty is road patrol, Road patrol is my second way that I manage myself and I try to challenge myself and be kind to others.

I manage myself by choosing who I sit with while completing tasks like people who I don't talk to that much.

I manage myself by asking for help when I need it and asking sensible questions, not silly questions.

How do you manage yourself? Please leave a comment below!

Student government speech

My name is Rex Chen and I am 10 years old. I am in Room 21.

I want to be in the student government because I am honest and kind. I like to play Rob lox and Scratch. I like to help other people. As I did road patrol every Thursday morning.

If I am the student government, I would set up a running race, so that may encourage the student to do running exercise. I also would like to set up a story telling competition so that may encourage the student like reading story.

Please vote for me, if you are interested to doing it.

Managing self

Managing self

How to manage yourself. Taking care of your things, keeping yourself  clean, complete
all your work,  remember all your job and don't talk all the time on the mat.

Number one is remembering to do all of my job in the morning like putting a chair out.

Number two is marking myself on the roll in the morning.

Number three is putting my name in daily 5 which is like reading.

Student Government

Kia ora.
My name is Nathaniel Fassioms. I’m in year 6, room 20. I think I would be a rawe student leader. Here's why. I’m brave, kind, funny, optimistic, cooperative, enthusiastic, fair, helpful, grateful and most importantly, a good leader!

Here are some of the things I would do to be a good leader. I would help change the school to make it the most environmentally friendly school in Aotearoa.

How would I change the school environmentally?

Firstly, I would encourage students to walk to school and exercise regularly. We should teach all grades about the need to exercise and help them understand the different types of simple exercises that could be done at home by oneself.

Secondly, I would educate everyone, the right way to dispose of garbage responsibly. I would make the students  understand the need to recycle and how we all would benefit from it in the future. We could also invite people from Waste Management to provide us with more information on garbage disposal and how we can help the community.

Thirdly, I would encourage all students and staff to eat their Greens and Vegetables regularly. This could be achieved by having fun days where we would only bring veggies and greens for lunch, on specific days of the week. We need to also explain and learn each veggie's importance and benefits to us.

That's all I have for today, I hope you consider me for Student Government and I wish the best of luck to my fellow candidates.

Student Government Speech

Hi everyone, my name is Kerry and I am in Room 21.

I want to talk to you about why I would be an awesome student leader. First
of all I am honest and kind, I’m kind to everyone, I give people and objects
respect, I’m a very forgiving person, creative , supportive and helpful person.
I never give up when things get hard and I always push myself to do my best.
I’m happy to learn new things everyday so you could say I love learning.

I think it would be nice if we had an ice block Friday that's for free. And I'm
thinking about having a mufti day but the school pays one gold coin if they
want to wear mufti.

These are some reasons why I would make an awesome student leader.

Student government

Hello kura, I am the worlds best person today so you should vote for me, just kidding here are some reasons why you should vote for me,BUT first let me tell that if you have a dream don't give up!
So there are a few things you need to know about me, before I get to the important stuff, I am responsible, smart, caring and kind, I like to play video games, I like computer science and robotics.

So, I know about the cardona virus and you can't go to school and go and have loads of fun outside, BUT if you guys are interested in technologies or like science or like robots and stuff like that, you guys can create or program something rawe and I might be able to put something on FHS tv so you could make a video about it, share it with FHS tv ,and the video will pop up on FHS tv, and you will be congratulated for making this rawe creation or program!

Also if you guys noticed a few years ago there was an handball competition, and so if you vote for me I might be able to put on the handball competition again, so people can compete from different year groups like for example, somebody from year 4 competes against someone from year 6.

So, thanks for listening to my speech and have a rawe day kura!

Managing self blog.

Hi, nice to see you again on my second blog,on this blog I will be blogging about 3 things how I manage myself at school for a task,so yeah

1.Orchestra and choir.
I manage myself by going to the practices on monday and tuesdays at lunch times for the orchestra and choir. On the way I have learnt how to play new instruments and read music,I also come early to help set things up and tidy up.

2.Speaking when i'm supposed to.
I also manage myself at school by not calling when the teachers are speaking to us because, it's rude to say something when another person is already talking to someone.

3.Morning daily things.
Lastly I manage myself at school by doing the things im supposed to do in the morning when the 8:30 bell rings in the classroom(Sign up for daily 5, put up a chair and mark myself on the roll).

So there are 3 things I manage myself at school, and I hope you like this blog, and by the way managing self means things you do that are sensible/your responsible for it.
                                                 Managing self
Managing self is when you are responsible for the things that you're doing and thinking of                    you're acts and sorting problems by yourself.

These are 3 examples of when I managed myself at school.

             Kapa haka / Knitting club
In the beginning of the term I decided to join kapa haka and I have made myself to develop                 the habit to always remember to go to practice at first it was pretty hard because I had to                     miss out on so many games that I can play outside but I have definitely thought myself                         managing my own time and getting use to missing out sometimes. Same thing goes with                     knitting club straight after kapa haka I go to knitting club with my friends and knit.

             My desk
If my desk is not organised and clean I cannot work at all its like my brain is messy too.
So when it is break times I re-organize my desk so when I come back from my break it                         is tidy and ready for learning I do it at home too especially where I do my homework and                     I do my learning while it is lockdown right now.

             A 'Can-Do' Attitude in Waterwise
I always try my best to give new learning a go and one of the challenging things that I have                done this year is waterwise and the most challenging activity for me at first was sailing and I              was really nervous to do it but I have overcome the fear of sailing.

how have you managed yourself this year? Please comment down below.

Student Government Speech

                                 Student Government speech

Hello everyone my name is Samantha and I would like to be part of student government. When it's every assembly I would always see the year 6's and thought how lucky they are. Having the job that I always wanted when i'm going to have my last year of primary which is right now. And I would always picture myself being part of student government no matter what it takes to be part of it I would always push myself to the limits. If I were to be part of it I would do fundraising for the outdoor shelter for the school pool and have mufti day and when it is chilly I would sell some hot chocolate and give all the money to the PTA. And also I would want to start a ice cream Friday or if some people are dairy free I guess we can still have ice block Friday and  maybe a juicy Thursday. Why I want to be part of student government is because I want to show everybody that I have leadership, integrity, kindness and of course honesty I could not picture a leader without honesty and I don't like lying because I would be disappointed in myself. I am very creative when it becomes to ideas I can think really quick and good ideas that will work. Also I am confident and enthusiastic and I love learning. It would mean the world to me to be part of student government. I am respectful to others and I respect other peoples decision and what they think about me if I would be a great fit in student government as I say again this would mean the world to me and a great way to start my last year and I am grateful to have the chance to apply for student government. I would like to say good luck to everyone else that are applying for this position. Please vote for me! As I say I will respect other peoples decision because I don't want to force other people thank you so much for listening or reading my speech.

Student Government Speech

Zdravo. Moeto ime e Andrej Georgiev I jas sakam da se kandidiram za pretstavnik na studeni. Hello. My name is Andrej Georgiev and I am going for student government. I am from North Macedonia and I came to New Zealand when I was year two. A word or two about myself: I am responsible, respectful, funny, enthusiastic, kind, resilient, always with humor.  I would like to share these attributes with the rest of the students as a role model to everyone.

Let me share an idea with you. Seeing what was happening in Australia this summer, I realised that we should learn more about fires. That’s why I think that we should meet with firefighters. If you guys vote for me I will go to Wairau Firefighters’ Station and ask them if they could come here at Forrest Hill School so everyone could meet them and learn more about preventing fires.

I have a question: who wants a mufti day? Well, if you vote for me, you guys will have a gold coin donation mufti day and all the money goes to the New Zealand Firefighters Welfare Society.

We are witnessing difficult times with the new virus going on in our community. That’s why I also want everyone to never ever give up. Because if you can’t do something always say ‘’I can’t do it, yet’’.

Thank you Kura for your attention and have an awesome time. I hope all of you have a Rawe day.

Managing Self

Managing yourself is when you do something you're meant
to do without being asked to do it like remembering to
complete your Home Learning or even completing your home
learning before it is due.

On Friday afternoons I do road patrol with Aoife so it's
more safe for the little kids to cross the road. So far I
have not forgotten one duty yet and I responsibly watch
the traffic to ensure that it is safe for students and their
whanau to cross the road.

At school I try to keep my tote tray tidy and try not to
mess it up. When it gets messy I clean it when I have free
time for example, if I get to school early then I have
time to tidy it.

In the classroom I sit at a table with my friends in the
corner. Although I talk with my friends, I still try to get
my work done on time and to a high standard.

About Me

Hi my name is Kerry, I am a year six that's ten years old. I go to Forrest Hill School.
I am in room twenty one and is also part of the Arataki team. We learn about leadership
and waterwise. At waterwise we do capsizing, kayaking, sailing and lots more.

My favorite subject is art but I still like the other subjects too. I enjoy learning about
animals, and I also have enjoyed basically everything so far. I am looking forward to
learning more things.

I am blogging this to show my learning for this year. This is for Forrest Hill School,
teachers and anyone else who's gonna see this. Please leave a like and comment

Managing Self

   Managing self
What's managing self? (• ᵕ •)ㄏ

Managing self is when you do things without people asking you to. For example, remembering to do your homework or getting to school on time.

On Friday in the afternoon I do road patrol with Kerry and I have not missed a single session yet. Road Patrol is a duty done before or after school where students patrol a pedestrian crossing using signs and command.

On Thursday we attend Waterwise and I have not missed a single Waterwise session plus I remember to bring my gear including my togs, towel, shorts, t-shirt, hat, sunscreen and remember to tie my hair up.(• ᵕ •)

I keep my tote tray organised. That's because then I know where everything is and I know there are no bugs living in there either. How do I keep my tote tray tidy? Well everyday in the morning I go over to my tote tray to make sure everything is tidy. If something is not tidy I we'll tidy it and then put my pencil case in and do this  everyday to make sure that it’s tidy.

I always do my kaitiaki job and I put in my best effort.(◕‿◕✿)

(づ。◕‿◕) Ma te wa Everyone. Bye

managing myself

Managing myself
Here are 3 ways that I am really showing me managing myself

Keeping my desk clean and tidy
Every day when I arrive at school I make sure that my desk is nice and tidy. My stuff should also be easy to get in and out and is easy to find.

Respecting the environment around me I think that I have been respecting the environment around me by...Picking up a chair if it is on the ground , pick up any stationary that is on the ground or stand up anything that has fallen over.

Just getting my work done
I sometimes get distracted when I should be doing my work. Or even if we only have a short limit of time. But I think that I have improved quit a bit. Because I have been getting higher scores in our 5 minute basic facts test.

managing self

Managing Self

Managing self is being the boss of you, not the boss of a team or company. There are three self managing skills: initiative, organisation and accountability.

1. Initiative means to do something without always being told what to do. for example: I could always stack the chairs up at the end of the day without being asked and have done this for the last 7 weeks of school.

2. Organisation means to plan your time and things you have to do. For example: I set up a goal to get to level 13 on Epics at the beginning of school term1, then I made a plan to read a book on Epics for 25 minutes everyday for the last 7 weeks of school.

3. Accountability means you take the ownership of the responsibility that comes in your way. For example: I followed my plan to read a book on Epics for 25 minutes everyday, then I finally achieved my goal.

In my conclusion about myself:
For the last 7 weeks, I could manage myself to read books on Epics. But I couldn't manage myself on stacking the chairs everyday and sometimes forgot to do it.  In the future, I will try my best to complete my new plan on time and achieve my goal.

Managing self

Managing self
What does Managing Self Mean to me?

I think managing self means that you control yourself and what you are doing at that moment and basically think about what you are doing. It also means that you should know what you are doing and to know when you should know when you are being respectful to others and yourself.

  1. I have managed myself at Forrest Hill School by being responsible to others and thinking before I say something so I am not rude to others.

  1. I have managed myself by always being on time at wet day and road patrol
and always have a good time doing it.

  1. I have managed myself by being focused on my learning and always wanted to be challenged by my teachers and always love whatever learning they give me. I get my work done on time and well before the date that it is due.
